About SCBF

Who We Are

The mission of the Smith County Bar Foundation (SCBF) is to further justice and promote the rule of law by providing resources and education to our community. Through programs such as the People’s Law School, Law Day contests, and Constitution Day celebrations, members of the SCBF work diligently to increase community awareness of legal issues, resources, and rights. Additionally, the SCBF has established a scholarship fund which will be used, in perpetuity, to support local students pursuing degrees or certifications in legal professions.

Membership in the SCBF is open to all, with a minimum gift of $100. These gifts are used to support the activities of the Foundation.
