Are You Volunteering Your Legal Services to Assist Those Most in Need? 

Did you know that approximately 15% of the population in Smith County (approximately 30,000 residents) lives in poverty and that the only organized source of free civil legal assistance for them is Lone Star Legal Aid (LSLA), who is working in conjunction with the Smith County Bar Foundation Volunteer Attorney Program to insure that the poorest and neediest residents of Smith County are not denied justice? 

Approximately 10% of the Smith County Bar members already volunteer to provide legal assistance to indigent residents of SmithCounty who would not otherwise receive help without these generous efforts.
